After a lot of playing around with different materials and positioning them i finally decided on the set up of my portrait. I decided to make it more me to do a line drawing of myself over the collage in the final draft.
This is fantastic. I am really happy you took the time to investigate the idea of collage. It really paid off. There are so many indications in it about who you re and what you are all about. Great work. Adding the line drawing was a really nice choice. One because you felt like it needed it which is the most important and two it connects the bottom layers of your sketches and the top final layer therefore integrating the entire piece into one cohesive thought and design. Hopefully you enjoyed this project. I personally love collage and how it invites the viewer into the choices an artist makes.
